the new year rings in,and I am all alone.Everyone I know has to work
The Hubbys Bday comes and goes-No presents this year.:-P
Realize that without a doubt my marriage is irritrievably over,as i find a used condom in my Van
My sons enter the school talent show and pull off an awesome display of talent,im so proud
Hubby takes an outta state job,to ...cough...save our marriage...yeah i didnt buy it either

Sisters Bday is celebrated at the roxy,great time had by all
Valentines day passes without a gift or an apology
I ask for a divorce
Start heavy flirting with a crush at work

Working and adjusting to living as a single parent
running boys to lacrosse practices/games

New years eve plans change ,but i have a kickass time anyway.-even if it did end at the toilet bowl,lol
***"t was the best of times and the worst of times.More worst than best,but sometimes it be that way.lol.I hope....no i know ...that this year will be better.So I raise my cup to all those i love and hold dear,this year...is...OUR year.

Mabon is upon us.The heat of the summer is /will slowly give way to the cooling of the darker times.These are the times when we hide in our homes and focus on our survival.The times when we look within for our sustenance ,and sanity.
This is the time of Thanksgiving.The time when we share ourselves with those closest to us.Our true hearts.The hearth, becomes our meeting grounds and the warmth that eminates from it warms us all right to our souls.
I can already see Gina setting the table.Hear Jeff telling off color jokes.See Michelles' beautiful smile lighting up the room.The giggles of Amber and Alex,sisters united in ways many will never understand.Jack,our resident sprite ,just doing what he does spreading and sharing hiself...his love.Jimmy is half knitting and half listeniing to all he has missed,and Shari flitting about being the social butterfly thatshe is,her smile always readily available.Andmy wiccan sister Jackie,who has grown into someone I am so proud of.We seem to meet on levels i didn't think we could.
These are the things and the people that I am grateful for this year,and for many more to come .And I will also miss those who though they have moved far from us are still close in heart and spirit.My Ever Beautiful Elizabeth,my gypsy and second half,and Aubs ,who ,if she had known how much we miss her would have never deserted us,lol.
I love and adore you all.So I am sending out my Mabon Wishes early...May you all find the strength to meet all challenges head on,may happiness set up residence in your hearts,and may you always know that if the first two wishes fall through,that I am always here to help you pick up the pieces.
Together in the universal tides ...We ride.

Besides seeing all my favorite people for the Full Moon on Tuesday .This has been an emotionally draining week.Usually the full moon fills me with energy and happiness,but this time it has left me both drained and depressed.
Sometimes it just really sucks to be me.
This has been a year of many changes for me,and sometimes the weight of those changes way heavily on my heart ,mind ,and soul.
Even I have to falter sometime,lol.
So today I am a little on the black side of things.If in your travels you think of me,a little extra light is all I need.

Well I finally did it.I finally fell beneath the bullying of the younger generation and joined Live Journal.lol.
I am sure i will take a least a week to figure all this stuff out ,so bare with the old chick,as she surfs yet another chat/blog/whatever site.
Here's to another year ,and new beginings.Hope this thing is worth it.lol |
